| This small appliance is a wonder! It is powerful and very versatile. Some of the immersion blenders I see on the Food Network have metal bases. I think I like this one better as it does not scratch. It is great for chopping and makes wonderful smoothies and milkshakes. The possibilities are endless. This kit looks good, and did good job when I used it to whip egg white, however, it broke when I used it second time. overheat burned the motor. Never buy this. I was spending 30 minutes mashing the beans and then trying to mix them in the blender. I put everything in the beaker and ran the immersion blender. It worked great and cleanup was easy. Especially the detachable pieces - I am a big fan of the dishwasher. Not sure how often I'll use this gadget, but I am very happy with it. |
