| This is out first Foreman Grille.... It works okay and the size is suffiient but I get better heat from my $10 cast iron skillet. The sell for this is that it drains the fat as you cook and you don't have to 'flip'. Be sure not to misplace the fat draining tray - you need that. And the sponge they include for cleaning it didn't last very long. I wounldn't buy it again because to me it isn't really at all like putting something on a 'grill. I really like this product. I am not the kind of person that buys kitchen junk so I was wary of the George Foreman grills thinking that they were Ronco type products. This is a great grill and it does a super job for salmon, chicken, etc in about 9 minutes or less. The bottom does get a little warmer but that is not aproblem for me. Clean up is very easy. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Our son uses a Foreman grill at college, and he recommended it to us. We decided on the one with removable plates for ease of cleaning. We have been very happy with it. It's quick and easy to use. The food is perfectly done in just a few minutes, and clean-up is a breeze. We just remove the plates and scrub them in the sink with the scrubber that came with it. It sure beats the electric grill we used to have. |
