| My son bought this for me. It lasted 2 months. It was absolute junk. Why they charge so much when there are better blenders to choose from is beyond me.
I would have rated it 0 if there were that choice. You'll be sorry if you buy this. The architecture firm I worked for had a VP that was on a serious high protein based diet and had one of his assistants order the Magic Bullet Blender for shakes. This thing was probably making a dozen frozen drinks a day if not more. Ice and Frozen fruit. We'd go through one about once a year. The only reason these things even broke was due to people not knowing how to operate any type of machine and letting it get dirty to the point where parts would stick together. Yeah, it couldn't make shakes when people would over load it with ice and fruit stopping the blades from building any type of momentum. If you are making a shake or two a day, enough of an adult to know how to clean up the blender and not over load the cups with to the point where you are over stressing the blades then this machine will last you a very long time. The only down side is that this little thing is L O U D, but that's the only trade off for such a rugged little machine. JUNK! Broke after 3 uses! Completely read the manual before using, was careful not to overheat. But it broke almost immediately. Tried to puree carrots. Took a very long time because of only using the unit for a few second to make sure it didnt overheat. I kept having to push the carrots back to the blades which are so poorly designed that they will puree what they can reach, but dont pull the product down towards them, leaving the top layers intact. |
