DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker
I rarely stay at home. My friends would always find me in some cafes, sipping coffee made by a professional barista. It was only when I had to tighten my belt because of credit card bills that I realized that I'm spending way too much on my coffee.
My friends then urged me to invest in a
coffee maker instead, saying I could save tons in the long-run. To get a good deal, I surveyed the internet shopping scene. With its positive reviews and discounted price, I went for this
DeLonghi Espresso Maker and I couldn't be happier!
The Pros:Takes up
little space and has eye-catching sleek design
Easy to use
Water reservoir has a
good capacity. No need for constant refilling as it can make about 8-10 shots.
Could accommodate pods and ground espresso
For making a good cup of joe, it’s very affordable
Fast to heat-up.
Good frothing wand that makes frothing milk easy.
Durable and performs exactly like it did when first bought (had mine for almost a year now!)
Has an
easy-to-clean filter that makes cleaning up a breeze
The cons:You could only use a small espresso cup since there is only a small gap between the area where you should place the cup and the output nozzle.
No cup warmer
Tips when using this machine:Use specialty espresso coffee (Lavazza, for example)
Don't use cold milk for frothing. Heat it up in the microwave first.
Make sure to check that there is enough water in the reservoir.
Thoroughly clean the machine, get some cleaner to run through it and flush it with water to remove any coffee ground build up. This will help maintain the machine's performance.
