I was really looking forward to own an automatic ice cream maker and I finally did buy one. I first read all the customer reviews of this product and they got me confused but I made the purchase anyway. I was amazed by its fully automatic operation that allows the motor to shut off once the ice cream has hardened (I never had this kind of machine before so I was really surprised). It took about 40 minutes on my first attempt to make one.

Yes, it’s quite noisy but I didn’t really mind it. What I’m after for is a perfect ice cream and the end product is a creamy and delicious one. Its texture and consistency was just what I expected- fine and smooth. The ice cream maker produced about 4 quarts and it is enough for my family. We even had some left over stored in the freezer. One thing I hate most about machines after using is the cleaning part but with this one, that wasn’t really a problem.

Overall this is a great Hamilton Beach product, great price, and I highly recommend this to anyone on a budget.
