KitchenAid Handheld Mixer is weak junk

The KitchenAid handheld mixer we purchased is so weak and slow it will hardly bring whipping cream to a soft peak in 15 whole minutes. I could do better with a fork! Plus, the thing cost over twice as much as other brands that work twice as well.
